It honestly doesn't help that news on the influenza virus seems to be reported in a worse light every single passing day, and just the news tonight dedicated the first 12 min reporting on how 'dire' the 'pandemic' is, with the next 8 min reporting how each sector of the community is coping with this flu virus apocalypse. And how ironic it is when during the break came a primer for a show addressing excessive compulsive disorder.

I know this is just like any other seasonal flu virus, which already kills thousands every year, but neither do I want to be the one bringing the virus in. I am pretty certain Maryland is going to get a confirmed case within the next month, with over 30 states in US having that figure presently. So now I have to make the decision in deciding whether this trip is sufficiently 'essential' for me to fly over. Man, this sucks big time, and I feel dumb, worried, irrational, emotional and unreasonable at the same time.

I just recalled an incident that I witnessed last week on my way to breakfast in school: this guy was cycling up the arts slope (which is really pretty steep) while this bus uncle kept horning him even though he (the cyclist) kept to the side of the road. So this guy stopped, turned around and pointed his middle finger to the bus captain while cursing away.

And then I thought to myself: fwah, shuai4!
